Latisse

This is the first FDA approved solution used to enhance natural growth and fullness of eyelashes and can only be prescribed by a Physician.

 

Patients usually start to see results in about 8 weeks with full results seen at 12 -18 weeks.

 

It is applied nightly to the base of the upper eyelid margin and data shows that after 16 weeks of treatment, there was a 25% increase in lash length, 106% increase in lash thickness/fullness and 18% increase in lash darkness.

 

Results are different in each individual and for best results treatment should be done once a day for 16 weeks.

FAQs

Potential Side Effects?

Most common side effect is itching, eye irritation and redness of eyelids. Non-permanent skin discoloration can also occur.

Can Latisse change my eye colour?

Very infrequently Latisse can cause permanent brown discoloration of the iris. The risk is reduced by proper application.

Can Latisse harm my eyes?

is an Ophthalmic solution so not expected to harm if it gets into the eye accidentally. Eyes do not need to be rinsed if this occurs.

How soon will I see results?

Most patients will start to see results in 2 months with full benefit seen in 4 months.

Can I use Latisse if I wear contacts?

Yes, but you need to take out your contacts before applying Latisse and wait for 15 minutes before putting contacts back in.
