Dreaming of fuller, thicker eyebrows? Microblading will give you a perfect pair of semi-permanent brows.
Microblading is a popular aesthetic treatment that has grown steadily over the years. It is a semi-permanent make-up technique to create the desired shape and fullness of the eyebrows, or the lash line.
Apart from our microblading services, we also specialize in a number of other treatments. Some of them include laser skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, skin tightening, botox fillers, and many others. Your satisfaction is our primary goal; walk out the doors of Harmony Med Spa Oshawa with confidence, as you show off your beautiful smooth skin.
Our Oshawa Microblading Services Work For Clients Who:
- Wish to flaunt permanent eye beauty: powder brows, eyebrows, combination brows, eyeliner
- Spend too much time applying make-up every day
- Would like to have defined eyebrows that don’t need touch-ups
- Want to experience permanent makeup
- Have existing conditions, such as madarosis alopecia or psoriasis, that prevent the eyebrows from appearing full
- Want to save over-plucked eyebrows
What Should I Expect?
Microblading is a popular form of cosmetic tattooing that fills in gaps in the eyebrows. Microblading is done to make the eyebrows look fuller, feathery, and thicker with lasting results. Microblading is also known as microstroking, 3D eyebrow embroidery, and semi-permanent makeup.
In a microblading session, a permanent makeup artist uses a special tool to create tiny cuts in the skin. The tool has multiple needles connected to a handle, allowing the makeup artist or beauty technician to insert pigment into the cuts. This creates an appearance of eyebrow hairs. The colour of the pigment will depend on the client’s preference.
Microblading is a recommended option for those who want to have the appearance of fuller eyebrows. It is a semi-permanent alternative to repeatedly applying makeup on the eyebrows. Our beauty technicians also recommend microblading for individuals who have lost eyebrow hairs due to a condition called “madarosis.”
Microblading Healing Process
The healing process is an important stage of getting a successful microblading procedure. Healing takes about 25 to 30 days after the procedure. The healing time depends on each person’s skin type, health, and age. The appearance of the treated eyebrow will vary in colour, definition and texture during the first 10 to 14 days. You will notice how these characteristics change every day.
The eyebrow area will feel tender, tight and sore. But not to worry as these immediate effects are normal for microblading procedures. The sensations will turn into itchiness and flaking, and will eventually subside as the skin heals.
Microblading results last 18 to 30 months, with touch-ups recommended every 12 to 18 months, depending on the look that our clients want. Each touch-up session will have different healing times.
